Job description

Position Overview The City of Henderson announces an examination to create a consideration for hire list and to fill four (4) vacancies for the classification of Fire Services Assistant (Part-Time) in the Henderson Fire Department. The eligibility list may be utilized to fill vacancies for this classification for up to one (1) year. Under immediate supervision, performs a variety of routine tasks while assisting in the administration, training, or logistics areas of the Fire Department; and performs related duties as assigned.

Position Information: This is a part-time position. The list established from this recruitment may be used to fill both Non-PERS eligible (19 hours/week) and PERS eligible (29 hours/week) vacancies. This position does not qualify for employer-paid benefits.
