We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team atSimCorp. This role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless delivery, integration, and reliability of our cloud-based solutions. As part of a cross-functional agile team, you will combine yourexpertisein software development and IT operations to enhance deployment pipelines, automate infrastructure, andmaintainhigh service availability. You will promote continuous improvement through feedback, monitoring, and collaboration with peers and stakeholders

WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

DevOpsSRE

  • Administer and supportSimCorpData Management and Cloud SaaS environments for internal and external clients.

  • Build and manage cloud environments using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, etc.).

  • Apply OS, database, and infrastructure patches in line with current standards.

  • Conduct Proof of Concepts (PoCs) with Cloud Services Architects to evaluatenew solutions.

  • Develop andmaintainAzure DevOps pipelines to automate builds, deployments, and integrations.

  • Create and enhance automation scripts (PowerShell, Python, etc.) to improve efficiency.

  • Streamline release and deployment processes for faster, more reliable delivery.

Monitoring, Reliability Incident Management

  • Implement monitoring and alerting solutions for Azure services and infrastructure.

  • Manage incidents, problems, and changes in alignment withSREbest practices.

  • Participate in disaster recovery and business continuity exercises, including annual VAPT.

  • Ensure compliance with SOC2 and other regulatory requirements by producing operational metrics and reports.

  • Maintain strong security and high availability across all environments

Collaboration Communication

  • Work closely with development and operations teams to ensure smooth integration and delivery.

  • Engage directly with clients to resolve technical issues and improve service quality.

  • Maintain clear documentation of processes, configurations, and procedures.

  • Mentor and share knowledge with junior engineers to support team development.


WhatWe'reLooking For

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or cloud operations.

  • Extensive experience with Azure services, Azure DevOps pipelines, and automation tools

  • Practical experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, or similar)

  • Proficiencyin scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python.

  • Solid understanding of monitoring, alerting, and incident management.

  • Familiarity with security and compliance frameworks (e.g., SOC2).

  • Proficient problem-solving skills and ability to work in agile, cross-functional teams

  • Proficient communication and client-facing skills

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering.

  • 5+ years' Experience managing cloud applications in the financial sector

  • Demonstrated experience with Azure DevOps and Azure services, including Active Directory, Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Sentinel, Key Vault, Citrix, Oracle Container PDB, Functions, Monitoring, Insights, and Billing

  • Extensive Windows and Linux server administration skills, along with Oracle administration, PL/SQL, XML, and virtualization (VMware, Citrix)

  • Proficiencyin Azure pipelines, PowerShell, Python, AWS Lambda, and Azure scripting.

  • Experience with infrastructure creation and application deployment usingTerraformandAnsible.

  • Skilled in developing CI/CD pipelines and associated tooling.

  • Knowledge of IT systems administration, IT security operations, and financial data management (reference data, portfolio pricing, corporate actions).

  • Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Grafana.

  • ITIL andITOpsexperience in an agile environment

For Toronto only: The salary range for this position is $98 000 to 142 000CAD. Base pay may vary based on factors such as years of experience, skills and qualifications.
