The Business Execution Leader role is responsible for driving enterprise growth initiatives, managing cross-functional execution, and accelerating key business priorities that support expansion, client acquisition, revenue growth, and operational excellence. They will serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, partnering key stakeholders to deliver high-impact initiatives that advance the Merchant Services growth agenda. The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking with flawless execution, strong financial and business acumen, and the ability to lead complex programs in a highly matrixed environment


In this role, you will:

  • Drive cross-functional growth initiatives focused on client acquisition, portfolio expansion, strategic partnerships, sales effectiveness, product adoption, and revenue optimization.

  • Partner with senior leaders to identify, prioritize, and execute strategic opportunities that support short- and long-term business growth objectives.

  • Establish governance, tracking, reporting, and accountability mechanisms to ensure successful delivery of critical initiatives.

  • Analyze business performance, market opportunities, and growth trends to develop recommendations that improve business outcomes and client experiences.

  • Lead complex initiatives that require coordination across multiple business lines, support functions, and partners.

  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve operational efficiency, and enhance organizational effectiveness while maintaining strong risk and control disciplines.

  • Develop executive-level presentations, business cases, and strategic communications to support leadership decision-making and stakeholder engagement.

  • Monitor initiative performance against strategic objectives, key performance indicators, and financial targets, recommending course corrections as needed.

  • Collaborate with Risk, Compliance, Legal, Finance, and Control partners to ensure initiatives are executed within established regulatory and risk management frameworks.

  • Build strong relationships and influence across all levels of the organization to gain alignment, resolve issues, and drive results.

  • Manage and develop a high-performing team while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

  • Support organizational change management activities associated with growth initiatives, operating model enhancements, and business transformations.


Required Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, including Management or leadership experience, or equivalent experience demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.

  • 4+ years of management or leadership experience.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience within Merchant Services, Payments, Treasury Management, Commercial Banking, Financial Services, or FinTech organizations.

  • Knowledge of the payments ecosystem, merchant acquiring, payment acceptance solutions, and emerging payment technologies.

  • Experience supporting business growth, revenue management, product commercialization, or go-to-market initiatives.

  • Proven ability to lead organizational change and business transformation efforts.

  • Strong financial acumen with experience evaluating business performance, investment opportunities, and growth metrics.

  • Experience building executive dashboards and leveraging data to drive strategic decision-making.

  • Advanced stakeholder management and influence skills across multiple organizational levels.

  • Experience leading complex, cross-functional strategic initiatives within a large, matrixed organization.

  • Experience developing and executing growth strategies, business plans, and operating models.

  • Strong executive presence with the ability to influence and partner effectively with senior leaders and stakeholders.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.

  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
