About the Role We are seeking a hands‐on leader to build and oversee Shift4's global compensation and benefits function. This person will be responsible for global benefits, job architecture, global pay structures, executive compensation, and equity programs, while also playing a critical role in M&A integration. Key Responsibilities Lead and develop a high‐performing global compensation team, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Partner with HR, Finance, Legal and senior leaders to provide compensation and benefits strategies that support growth and talent retention. Operate both strategically and hands‐on, balancing high‐level planning with day‐to‐day execution. Set global benefits strategy and work with local teams to execute locally. Develop and implement a global job architecture and leveling framework. Establish and manage global salary bands, base pay and variable compensation structures. Conduct market benchmarking and competitive analysis to ensure compensation remains attractive and aligned with company goals. Utilize Workday and other compensation tools for data‐driven decision‐making and reporting. Partner with outside consultants and CHRO in administering executive compensation programs. Coordinate with Legal and Finance on equity administration, compliance and reporting. Lead compensation and benefits due diligence and integration efforts for acquired companies, ensuring seamless alignment with Shift4's compensation structures. Develop transition strategies to integrate new employees into global pay frameworks. What We're Looking For 10+ years of total rewards experience, with expertise in benefits, global compensation, job architecture and executive pay. Proven experience managing and leading global teams. Strong background in M&A compensation and benefits, including due diligence and post‐merger integration. Prior experience in finance, compensation analysis or FP&A preferred. Experience with Workday preferred. Excellent analytics and data‐driven decision‐making skills. Ability to thrive in ambiguity and a fast‐paced, high‐growth environment.
