Technology Strategy Analyst

Direct Hire | Onsite in Oklahoma City

Our client is seeking a Technology Strategy Analyst to partner with business leaders and translate organizational needs into innovative technology solutions. This role goes beyond traditional requirements gathering and requires someone who can evaluate business challenges, design practical solutions, and help guide execution from concept through implementation.

The ideal candidate is highly analytical, process-focused, and curious about emerging technologies. They are comfortable working with executives, thinking through technical and operational impacts, and helping drive digital transformation across multiple business units.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with SVPs and business leaders to understand workflows, priorities, and technology needs.
  • Gather, analyze, and document both functional and technical requirements.
  • Evaluate current systems and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, scalability, and automation.
  • Participate in solution design and help develop implementation approaches, Participate in solution design and help develop implementation approaches, including process flows, system interactions, data requirements, and operational impacts.
  • Translate business requirements into clear, detailed execution plans for technical and operational teams.
  • Bridge communication between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure alignment on solutions.

  • Support vendor evaluations, technology reviews, cost-benefit analysis, and RFP development.
  • Track industry trends, fintech innovation, and regulatory changes, summarizing insights for leadership.

Requirements

  • 3–5+ years in Business Analysis, Systems Analysis, Technology Strategy, or related role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, MIS, CS, Engineering, or related field.
  • Strong ability to translate business needs into actionable technical and operational solutions.
  • Experience participating in solution design (not just requirements gathering).
  • Understanding of functional vs. technical requirements and how to communicate both.
  • Experience mapping workflows, system interactions, and business processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and executive presence.
  • Experience with tools such as JIRA, AdaptiveWork, Power BI, or similar.
