Is fintech replaced by AI?

Fintech consulting involves advising on financial technology solutions, and AI is increasingly integrated into fintech to improve automation, data analysis, and customer experience. What are some typical challenges faced by professionals in Fintech Consulting roles?

Fintech Consulting professionals often navigate rapidly changing regulatory landscapes and must keep up with continuous innovation in financial technologies. Balancing client expectations with technical feasibility and compliance requirements can be challenging, especially when implementing new solutions. Job description

Tabs is the leading AI-native revenue platform for modern finance and accounting teams. Tabs agents automate the entire contract-to-cash lifecycle, including billing, collections, revenue recognition, and reporting, to help teams eliminate manual work and accelerate cash flow.
High-growth companies like Cursor and Statsig rely on Tabs to generate invoices directly from contracts, reconcile payments in real time, and automate ASC 606 compliance.
Founded in 2023, Tabs has raised over $91 million from Lightspeed Venture Partners, General Catalyst, and Primary. The team is headquartered in New York and brings deep expertise in finance and AI.
About the Role
As a Partnerships Manager, Fintech, you own Tabs' fintech ecosystem across payments, orchestration, and tax. You'll own and execute the strategy for driving partner-sourced revenue, influencing how we integrate, and making sure fintech partnerships translate into real commercial outcomes.
You'll work at the intersection of product, GTM, and strategy, partnering closely with internal teams and external partners to expand Tabs' footprint across leading fintech platforms. Checkout, agents, FX, treasury and help shape what comes next.
What You'll Do
  • Own and scale Tabs' fintech partnership strategy, with a clear focus on partner-sourced pipeline, revenue impact, and customer adoption.
  • Build and maintain executive-level relationships across fintech partner organizations, including sales, account management, and solutions consulting teams.
  • Define and execute co-sell and go-to-market motions with fintech partners to ensure integrations translate into real commercial outcomes.
  • Partner closely with product and engineering teams to influence integration roadmaps and prioritize features that maximize partner adoption and customer value.
  • Lead structured roadmap and R&D discussions with fintech partners to align integrations with market demand and ecosystem needs.
  • Design and launch fintech partner programs, including enablement, incentives, and joint GTM playbooks.
  • Establish and track partner success metrics, including pipeline, revenue contribution, adoption, and integration usage.
  • Support Sales on a 0-1 motion - pair with sellers on early customer cycles where a partner integration is part of the deal, then turn it into a repeatable motion.
  • Represent Tabs at fintech conferences, partner events, and on-site meetings as needed.

Who You Are
  • 7+ years of professional experience, with the majority spent owning fintech partnerships in a B2B SaaS environment.
  • Deep familiarity with the fintech ecosystem - payments, orchestration, tax, FX, treasury - and the GTM channels that power them.
  • Proven track record of closing and scaling strategic partnerships with ownership over pipeline and/or revenue targets.
  • Strong product and technical fluency, with experience influencing integration roadmaps and translating APIs, money movement, and ledgering into commercial value.
  • Comfortable operating as a senior individual contributor with high ownership and limited oversight.
  • Strategic thinker who can translate complex ecosystems into clear, executable plans.
  • Strong cross-functional collaborator with product, engineering, sales, marketing, finance, and legal - both internally and at the partner.
  • Data-driven and operationally rigorous, with experience defining and tracking partner performance metrics.

Experience
  • 7+ years of professional experience, the majority leading fintech partnerships in a B2B SaaS environment.
  • Experience at or partnering deeply with a top-tier platform like Stripe, Adyen, or Airwallex is a plus.
  • Proven experience closing and managing strategic partnerships with ownership over pipeline and/or revenue targets.
  • Experience designing, launching, and scaling fintech partner programs.
  • Background in high-growth, early-stage B2B SaaS companies; prior startup experience is strongly preferred.
  • Experience contributing to integrated product experiences or platform ecosystems is a plus.

Perks and Benefits (Full-time Employees)
  • Competitive compensation and equity
  • Unlimited PTO
  • Up to 100% employer covered monthly healthcare premium (medical, dental, vision)
  • Lunch provided via Sharebite, plus dinner for any later in office days.
  • Parental leave up to 12 weeks
  • Tax free commuter and parking benefits
  • Voluntary insurances (Life, Hospital, Critical Illness, Accident)
  • Employee Assistance Program (Rightway)
  • Free One Medical Membership
  • 401k
