Overview
ABOUT US

Founded in 1993, Bayview Asset Management is an investment management firm focused on investments in mortgage and consumer credit, including whole loans, asset-backed securities, mortgage servicing rights, and other credit-related assets.

POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated AI FinOps & Governance Lead to join our IT PMO team. This role manages the day-to-day administration and operations of the firm’s enterprise AI tools and platforms while owning the financial operations (FinOps) discipline for AI.  This includes tracking usage, licensing, and cost; identifying opportunities to optimize spend; managing vendor relationships; and reporting on adoption to help assess overall value. The ideal candidate pairs hands-on platform administration with strong financial, analytical, and vendor-management acumen to ensure the firm’s AI investments are well-governed, cost-effective, and delivering measurable business value. This role is responsible for the administration, governance, adoption, utilization, and financial management of the firm's enterprise AI platforms, ensuring AI investments are secure, compliant, cost-effective, and delivering measurable business value.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Administer and support the firm's approved enterprise AI platforms, including user provisioning, license management, access controls, and platform configuration.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for AI platform support, operational requests, issue resolution, and vendor coordination.
  • Track and analyze AI platform usage, licensing, adoption, and spend across the enterprise AI portfolio.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, metrics, and reporting that provide visibility into utilization, adoption, costs, and overall platform effectiveness.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize AI-related spend through license reclamation, subscription right-sizing, utilization analysis, and cost management best practices.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, invoice reconciliation, and cost allocation activities related to enterprise AI platforms and services.
  • Deliver reporting and actionable insights that help leadership evaluate AI adoption, business impact, return on investment, and value realization.
  • Partner with Technology, Finance, Information Security, Risk, Compliance, Legal, Procurement, and business stakeholders to support the firm's AI strategy and operating objectives.
  • Support the administration and continuous improvement of the firm's AI governance framework, including adherence to approved AI tool standards, access controls, and policy requirements.
  • Assist in the evaluation, onboarding, and oversight of approved AI tools, platforms, and vendors.
  • Maintain audit-ready documentation related to platform administration, licensing, governance activities, vendor relationships, and compliance requirements.
  • Monitor AI platform utilization, operational health, and compliance with established policies and standards, escalating risks and issues as appropriate.
  • Coordinate vendor renewals, licensing true-ups, and procurement activities while maintaining accurate inventories of AI platforms, licenses, contracts, and related documentation.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
  • Proficiency with reporting and analytics tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI) and SaaS administration consoles.
  • Understanding of SaaS licensing models, cost management, and FinOps principles.
  • Familiarity with enterprise AI tools and platforms (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT Enterprise).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to present complex cost and adoption information clearly and concisely to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple vendors, priorities, and projects simultaneously.
  • Experience tracking technology usage, licensing, and cost, with a demonstrated ability to identify and realize spend-optimization opportunities.
  • Experience managing vendor relationships, contracts, and renewals.
  • Familiarity with enterprise SaaS and/or AI platforms and administration concepts (license and user management, access controls, reporting).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to build reporting and translate data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across IT, Finance, and business teams.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in FinOps, financial operations, accounting, IT operations or administration, or business administration.
Certifications, Licenses, and/or Registration:
  • Certifications such as FinOps Certified Practitioner (FOCP), ITIL, or relevant Microsoft or vendor platform administration certifications are highly desirable.
LOCATION AND COMPENSATION:
  • This role will be in either our Denver (CO), Coral Gables (FL) or New York (NY) office location.
  • This role will be hybrid with 3 days in-office (Tues – Thurs) and 2 work from home days (Mon and Fri).
  • The salary range available for this position will be between $120,000 - $140,000.
