Qualifications
Previous manufacturing/production experience
Basic math skills, organization skills, detail oriented, and safety conscious
Accurate measuring and record keeping skills
The associate may be required to sometimes climb or balance

Responsibilities
DEPARTMENT: Sorting and Finishing
Creation of master samples for the purpose of determining finished product quality as defined by defect analysis, texture, shade, gloss and color
Quality inspection of Tiles being processed in Sorting and Polishing to determine adherence to Portobello’s quality standards
Monitor and Maintain equipment or processes and report problems to Supervisor
Verify adherence to packaging and finishing specifications
Compliance to Portobello Policies and Procedures
Follows Standard Operating Procedures for work performed
Keeps the work area safe, clean and organized
Performs mechanical measurements and various tests on finished product to verify that all products meet specification
Perform equipment setup and change-over
Operation of Automated manufacturing equipment for the purpose of starting, stopping and adjusting production processes
Operate a forklift for the purpose of maintaining efficient departmental operation
Performs other related duties as required
Assist in Inventory control
The associate is required to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
