Concrete Finisher:
We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team, specializing in finishing concrete for sidewalks, driveways, and streets. As a Concrete Finisher, you will also be involved in various other concrete projects as required. This position involves working outdoors and requires individuals with a strong work ethic and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
What Do You Offer Us:
  • Knowledge and experience in concrete finishing, particularly for sidewalks, driveways, and streets.
  • Flexibility to undertake other concrete projects as needed.
  • Setting up forms to contain the concrete, as well as cleaning and leveling the surface on which the concrete will be poured.
  • Installing rebar or mesh for added strength if required.
  • Using various tools, such as trowels and floats, to smooth and level the surface of the concrete.
  • Creating different textures or patterns on the surface as needed.
  • Forming edges and joints in the concrete to enhance its appearance and control cracking.
  • Ensuring that edges are straight and corners are well-defined.
  • Applying curing compounds or sealers to promote proper curing and prevent cracks.
  • Taking measures to protect the concrete surface from adverse weather conditions during the curing process.
  • Patching and repairing damaged or uneven concrete surfaces.
  • Blending repaired areas with the surrounding concrete to maintain a uniform appearance.
  • Cleaning and maintaining tools and equipment.
  • Removing excess concrete and debris from the work area.
  • Inspecting finished surfaces to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Addressing any defects or imperfections in the concrete.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
