Summary:

Assist customers/sales representatives with finished product and decorative hardware orders and questions via phone and email


JOB DUTIES:  

  • Develop strong understanding of Finished Products and decorative hardware in order to effectively and correctly assist customers, sales representatives, and internal staff with quotes and order processing
  • Develop strong understanding of the Fabricut website, AS400, Happy Fox ticketing system, and workroom ordering platform (E-pic) to quickly and efficiently enter quotes, place orders and/or check order status for customers or sales representatives
  • Answer incoming calls and emails
  • Interact with off-site workroom to ensure quality product and ship dates are met
  • Interact with other departments to service needs of customer
  • Display good safety and housekeeping practices
Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Two years experience in a fast paced customer service environment or Sales position
  • Must display reasoning ability and decision making skills
  • Fabric knowledge and/or workroom experience a plus
  • Typing skills of 45 WPM
  • Intermediate skills in Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Must be well-organized and have the ability to plan and manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment for maximum efficiency and effectiveness
  • Intermediate math skills a plus 
  • Ability to work effectively with others
  • Communicate with courtesy and professionalism
