Position Description
Job Summary
In this position, you will oversee all tasks that involve your particular discipline, whether it be carpentry, plumbing, masonry, labor, or operative. Regardless of your craft, you must have several years of construction experience. You also need to have excellent physical stamina and familiarity with safety policies.
Ability to
  • Complete all tasks related to your trade (variety of tasks depending on your skill level or area of expertise)
  • Set up and break down your workspace
  • Keep your area free from hazards
  • Effectively and safely operate a variety of tools and equipment
  • Analyze situations accurately and adopt an effective course of action
  • Perform heavy physical labor
  • Perform duties effectively, timely, and without supervision
  • Understand and follow oral and written directions
  • Establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with others
  • Perform duties as assigned

Physical Demands
  • Regular exposures to dust, odors, heights and loud noises
  • Clarity of vision at varying distances to perform various work assignments
  • Standing and walking for extended periods of time
  • Dexterity of hands and finders to operate a variety of specialized tools and equipment
  • Reaching overhead, above the shoulders, and horizontally
  • Occasional bending, kneeling, and crouching
  • Lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling objects
  • Climbing ladders and working from heights as necessary
