JOB SUMMARY
Comfort Temp Company is seeking a driven and energetic Recruiter to join our recruiting team. Reporting to the Recruiting Manager, this role focuses on high-volume outbound calls, applicant tracking, and managing candidate pipelines to meet fast-paced hiring needs across both CT Mechanical and Comfort Temp Heating amp; Air.

The ideal candidate thrives in a high-energy, high-volume recruiting environment and enjoys connecting with people, qualifying talent quickly, and supporting multiple hiring managers across multiple locations. A background in skilled trades or construction recruiting is a plus but not required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

High-Volume Outreach amp; Candidate Engagement
• Conduct daily outbound calls to potential candidates sourced from job boards, trade schools, referrals, and applicant databases.
• Screen candidates to evaluate qualifications, certifications, and cultural alignment.
• Maintain continuous engagement with applicants to keep pipelines active and warm.
• Follow up promptly with applicants and hiring managers to move candidates efficiently through the process.

Applicant Tracking amp; Process Management
• Manage all candidate activity using our Applicant Tracking System (Paycor).
• Ensure accurate documentation of calls, interview notes, statuses, and follow-ups.
• Maintain organized candidate pipelines for multiple roles simultaneously across different branches.
• Prepare and deliver weekly recruiting reports, including call volume, applicant flow, and fill rates.

Collaboration amp; Workforce Alignment
• Partner closely with the Recruiting Manager to prioritize requisitions based on business needs and project timelines.
• Communicate regularly with Operations Managers, Project Managers, and department leads to align recruiting efforts with open roles and workforce planning.
• Participate in team huddles and staffing meetings to ensure hiring priorities are met.

Employer Branding amp; Candidate Experience
• Represent Comfort Temp Company and its divisions as an employer of choice during all candidate interactions.
• Support trade school and career fair outreach efforts when needed.
• Provide candidates with a professional, seamless experience from initial contact through onboarding.

REQUIREMENTS amp; QUALIFICATIONS
• 1-3 years of experience in high-volume recruiting; skilled trades or construction recruiting a plus.
• Proven ability to make high outbound call volumes daily while maintaining quality candidate engagement.
• Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (Paycor preferred) and pipeline management.
• Excellent organization, multitasking, and follow-up skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-demand recruiting environment.
• Comfortable collaborating with multiple stakeholders across divisions and locations.
