What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology and media-focused location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observed details and sharing information with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points, visitor activity, and/or credential checks in accordance with site guidelines, helping to support approved entry procedures and reporting concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Support day-to-day operations by communicating clearly with staff and guests, completing assigned reports, and following post orders related to security-related activities and facility expectations.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A guard card is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
