Fincantieri Bay Shipbuilding, a Fincantieri Marine Group Company, is hiring for a Scheduler 1 at our Sturgeon Bay, WI location.

Position Summary

The Scheduler I is responsible for development and maintenance of project schedules and associated resource plans. This role will post and report schedules and resource plans as required, incorporating and maintaining baseline and performance metrics within project schedule files and adhering scheduling and resource planning processes, WBS standards and SOPs. This position will also frequently communicate with Planning, Engineering, Purchasing, Production, Program Management and Senior Management departments.

Domestic travel may be required.

Essential Functions

  • Print Schedules and Progress reports for distribution to area supervisors/managers
  • Update schedules with input from Production and Support Departments
  • Maintain baseline and performance metrics within project schedule files
  • Frequently communicate cross functionally with internal departments and leadership
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Skills

  • Ability to create project schedules and resource plans
  • Knowledge of shipbuilding workflow, material flow, and production processes
  • Basic working knowledge of ERP systems
  • Must have strong Microsoft Office Suite computer skills
  • Must have strong organizational, time management, written and verbal communication skills
  • Must have ability to maintain confidentiality and a professional demeanor
  • Must adhere to ISO and OSHA policies established by FMG and have high values for safety awareness

Education and Experience

  • Associates degree, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • 2 Years of related experience required
  • Basic knowledge of ship construction workflow, EVMS concepts, and Primavera is preferred
