Position Summary: Support core HR functions including employee relations, recruitment & onboarding, compliance, training & development and benefits & well-being administration. Ensures compliance with policies and provide guidance to team members and supervisors. Oversee facility level programs to support employee engagement.
Duties / Responsibilities:
  • Assist with policy interpretation, offer guidance to leaders and team members, and support ongoing compliance tracking
  • Support employee relations investigations and documentation
  • Deliver training and coach supervisors on performance management and corrective actions
  • Interview, select and lead onboarding & orientation activities and processes
  • Participate in the planning and execution of morale-building activities and recognition programs
  • Support the coordination and facilitation of all facility engagement activities (workshops, surveys, etc)
  • Ensure HRIS data integrity and support related transactions in Workday and complete compliance related forms and documents
  • Support change management efforts and foster a culture of continuous improvement

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 1-3 years of HR experience
  • Working knowledge of employment law and HR systems
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Strong attention to detail and confidentiality
  • Experience with HR Payroll/ Timekeeping systems
  • Microsoft Word and Excel experience
  • Trustworthy - capable of handling and maintaining highly confidential information
  • Must be able to communicate effectively and constructively with all levels in the organization

Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Work may require stooping, bending, crouching, crawling, pushing, and / or pulling
  • Must be able to communicate with others via phone, email, and in person. Must be able to exchange accurate information with others.
  • Work environment is not temperature controlled and may result in exposure to extreme temperatures.
  • Work primarily involves sitting / standing, up to 4 hours at a time.
