Summary:

The Business Analyst plays a critical role in supporting, enhancing, and optimizing the technology landscape that underpins our core financial processes. This role partners closely with FP&A, Accounting, and IT teams to deliver scalable and standardized solutions across reporting, planning and consolidation platforms.

As an early-stage member of the FP&A Center of Excellence, the Business Analyst helps with data consistency, analytical rigor, and decision support to deliver timely, actionable insights.

Essential Functions:

Systems, Data & Analytics Adoption

  • Perform data analysis and validation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency across financial systems.
  • Document business processes, data flows, system configurations, and user procedures.
  • Identify opportunities for automation, process optimization, and improved system utilization.

FP&A & Finance Enablement

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize dashboards, data models, and analytics solutions to support decision-making across the organization.
  • Support and enhance financial reporting, planning and consolidations processes/systems.
  • Participate in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close support activities, ensuring system stability and timely issue resolution.

CrossFunctional Collaboration

  • Serve as the primary liaison between Finance/Accounting stakeholders and technical teams to translate business requirements into functional specifications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve data governance, master data quality, and reporting standardization.
  • Support training, change management, and adoption of standard Finance/Accounting processes.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field. May consider equivalent work experience in lieu of degree.
  • 3+ years of experience in Finance, Accounting or Financial Systems.
  • Hands-on experience with:
      • SAP SAC-P (planning models, data actions, stories)
      • SAP Group Reporting (configuration / data collection / translation / elimination / reporting )
      • Power BI (data modeling, DAX, report development)
  • Strong understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, FP&A processes and financial data structures.
  • Experience supporting FP&A Centers of Excellence or shared services models.
  • Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
