Job description

We are currently seeking a talented Junior Finance Specialist to join our team. In this role you will strengthen the finance team, support sound financial decision-making by assisting in preparing detailed reports, and budgets across departments and become a link between operational teams and finance team to ensure financial accuracy and efficiency.

Responsibilities 

  • Collect and consolidate financial data from various sources, ensuring  its accuracy and consistency
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure timely and accurate data collection
  • Work with the company's budgets: gather information and assist in its cross-departmental analysis
  • Maintain with complex Google Sheets - based financial models
  • Contribute to the automation of budgeting and business processes 

Requirements 

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Audit, Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, or Engineering
  • Proven experience working with financial data
  • Analytical skills
  • Google Sheets and/or Excel skills, including pivot tables, advanced formulas and tools
  • Basic understanding of financial statements, such as P&L, Balance sheet, and Cash flow statement
  • Ability to work with large volumes of numerical data
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for data collection and providing feedback
  • Flexibility to handle evolving responsibilities in a dynamic work environment
  • Willingness to take on new challenges and suggest process improvements
  • Eagerness to learn new financial concepts, tools, and industry trends
  • A proactive approach to professional development and skill-building
  • Advanced/Upper-intermediate level of English

Will be a plus

  • Understanding of basic accounting principles (GAAP or IFRS)
  • Experience with financial software such as 1/BAS, or other ERP systems
