Position Profile

Weaver is seeking an experienced and motivated Audit Manager to join our growing Financial Services practice, focusing on investment fund clients, including Venture Capital, Private Equity, and Real Estate funds. As the firm's largest individual practice group and one of its fastest-growing service lines, Financial Services offers professionals the opportunity to work with a premier client base while building a rewarding career in a high-growth environment. The Audit Manager has significant opportunities for advancement at Weaver. In this role, you will lead all phases of the audit process, deliver exceptional client service, and foster the professional development of Associates, Senior Associates, and Supervisors through mentorship, coaching, and training. You will also collaborate closely with firm leadership on business development initiatives and key firm administration efforts, helping drive the continued success of the practice.

To be successful in this role, the following qualifications are required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
  • Active CPA license
  • 5+ years of public accounting experience or its equivalent
  • Experience in alternative investment funds, financial institutions, broker dealers, insurance, or related industries
  • Possess technical knowledge sufficient to supervise Senior Associates and Associates

Additionally, the following qualifications are preferred:

  • Master’s degree in Accounting or related field
  • Strong relationship management and practice development skills
  • Proven ability to manage, mentor and develop staff
  • Demonstrates independent thinking and strong decision-making skills
  • Ability to attract and service new clients and expand services to existing clients
