Job description

Client Service Associate

The Martin Financial Group, a rapidly growing financial planning and advisory firm based in Wichita, KS is looking to hire a Client Service Associate. This individual will have the opportunity to grow and be a part of a national wealth management team that delivers customized wealth management and investment strategies, complex financial planning, and retirement income distribution strategies for our clients. We serve emerging affluent, high net-worth and ultra-high net-worth individuals, families, and business clients.

Role Profile Summary

The Client Service Associate will be responsible for a wide variety of the financial planning and investment management services we provide for our clients. In collaboration with all team members, this individual will focus on client service relationship management, responding to and submitting client service requests, preparing, and submitting paperwork to open accounts and policies, and provide concierge level contact with our clients. This role is often the first introduction to our team beyond the advisors.

Core Responsibilities

● Shepherding clients through the application and underwriting process for life, disability, and annuity products and investment account opening

● Service concierge for clients who have questions or need to make changes to their policies or accounts

● Proactively prepare advisors for client reviews through briefing them on opportunities or service needs for existing insurance products

● Receive incoming calls and emails; take messages, respond appropriately and route correspondence to the appropriate team member

● Handle requests, feedback, and queries quickly and professionally

  • Maintain daily tasks via CRM database

Analytical Support

● Coordinate client service requests between investments, planning and insurance teams

● Analyze client information and prepares reports and presentations

● Enter client information into various systems including financial planning and CRM

● Prepare paperwork or service requests as needed

Client Service

● Answer basic questions for clients or fields client calls

● Maintain information in CRM system

Firm Responsibilities

● Understand and support the firm’s vision, mission, and strategy

● Engage in teamwork and teambuilding and integrate into the culture of the firm

● Participate in the completion of strategic initiatives and projects

Qualifications

● Minimum of two-years’ experience in the financial services or related industry with a concentration in financial planning, securities, insurance, or investment operations

Preferred Qualifications

● Bachelor’s degree with major in finance, economics, accounting, financial planning, or related field

● FINRA Series 7 and Series 63

● Kansas Life and Health Insurance License (preferred or obtainable within 6 months on the job)
