Job description

ASL Financial, LLC is a boutique financial planning, tax, and investment advisory practice serving individuals, families, business owners, ERISA plans, divorce clients, and high-net-worth clients with complex planning needs. The firm is intentionally small, highly relationship-driven, and built almost entirely through client and professional referrals rather than advertising or public marketing.
We are seeking an experienced Client Service Associate to join our team. This position will have direct client contact in our goal to provide excellent client service.
This position is Hybrid from our office in Los Gatos, CA.

Primary Duties:
  • Respond to client requests with timeliness and accuracy in mind
  • Assist Advisors with client meeting prep and follow-up tasks
  • Process account opening applications, transfer paperwork, money movements and/or other various industry specific administrative tasks
  • Manage brokerage tasks
  • Initiate, manage, and tweak workflows
  • Data input into our financial planning software - NaviPlan

Qualifications:
  • 2 years of financial services experience
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, problem-solve, and meet deadlines
  • Organization skills & attention to detail
  • Ability to anticipate client and advisor needs
  • Ability to work independently while prioritizing projects and managing your time - we do not micromanage
  • Ability to learn and implement new technology and software quickly
  • Ability to communicate well and work in a collaborative environment
  • Ability to follow office processes and policies related to office operations & client privacy
  • Familiarity with Persing is not required, but would be a plus

Qualified candidates will start the process by having a 15-30 minute zoom interview conducted by our consultant who is the hiring manager for this position. If there is ground to move forward, you will be required to fill out a Career History Form and if you are selected to advance in the process, you will meet with the firm. Qualified candidates will be asked to take assessments.
