They provide a comprehensive range of legal services to both lender-side and borrower-side clients, encompassing areas such as syndicated lending, leveraged finance, asset-based loans, project and infrastructure finance, energy finance, equipment finance, real estate finance, structured finance, and securitizations. They regularly represent many of Canada’s prominent financial institutions, as well as U.S., European, and other non-Canadian financial services providers.


Currently, our client is seeking a talented mid to senior level Banking & Financial Services Associate to join their dynamic Financial Services team in their Calgary office.


Qualifications and Attributes:


  • 3-7 years of post-call experience in private practice focused on banking and financial services at a national, regional, or reputable boutique firm
  • Expertise in syndicated lending, syndicated debt financing, leveraged finance, infrastructure finance, structured finance, and securitization
  • Strong analytical and drafting skills
  • Above average academic credentials
  • Exceptional interpersonal and client service skills, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively within diverse teams
  • Must be qualified to practice law in Canada
