Assist in the application of risk management tools that improve the measurement of both product specific risks and overall financial market risk, Build in depth knowledge of one or more product lines. Build an understanding of corporate profitability objectives and risk tolerance. Establish a working understanding of regulatory requirements and the associated Stat, GAAP, and economic accounting for related products and strategies. Establish a working understanding of the global economy and capital markets. Gain exposure to a unique and increasingly challenging risk discipline in areas such as Asset Liability Management, Equity Risk Management, Interest Rate Risk Management, Currency Risk Management, Longevity Mortality Exposure Management, Operational Risk Management, Product Design Assessment, Mortality and Morbidity Risk, Dynamic Policyholder Behavior, or Reinsurance Optimization.

Compensation

The listed annualized base pay range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions in the external market. Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency and demonstration of competencies required for the role. The base pay is just one component of The Hartford's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term or annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and on-the-spot recognition. The annualized base pay range for this role is:
