Job Title: Intern, Supply Cain Program Management

Job Schedule: 9/80: Employees work 9 out of every 14 days - totaling 80 hours worked, and have every other Friday off 

Job Summary:
The Supply Chain Program Management Intern will support the Supply Chain team in coordinating activities across programs and products within the Power Systems organization. This internship provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience working with cross-functional teams including Program Management, Engineering, Quality, Finance, and Operations. The intern will assist with supply chain planning, supplier coordination, program support activities, and process improvement initiatives while learning about the full product lifecycle.

Essential Functions:

  • Support communication and coordination between Supply Chain and other functional teams for assigned programs or products.
  • Assist in the development and execution of supply chain strategies that support program goals.
  • Help monitor material and supplier milestones to support timely program execution.
  • Support tracking of supply chain cost, schedule, and performance metrics.
  • Assist with analyzing key performance indicators and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Participate in supply chain risk and opportunity tracking and help document mitigation plans.
  • Support compliance with internal policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.
  • Assist with financial and program reporting activities, including data gathering and status updates.
  • Help support supplier relationship activities and coordination with the broader Supply Chain team.
  • Assist with proposal support activities by gathering supply chain inputs and preparing documentation.
  • Support Supply Chain Program Manager's involvement in requirements development and related coordination activities.
  • Participate in process improvement efforts and other special projects as assigned.

 

Qualifications:

  • To be eligible, candidate's must be pursuing a bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior internship, project, or academic experience related to supply chain, business, or program coordination.
  • Familiarity with data analysis, reporting, or process improvement concepts.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Washington, and the Greater D.C. area, Denver, or NYC areas is $21.00/hour  -$41.50/hour. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. L3Harris also offers a variety of benefits, including relocation stipend, 401(k), EAP, and company-paid holidays. The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements.
