Responsibilities
• Provide direct supervision, ongoing evaluation, motivate workplace skills staff on a daily basis which include initial orientation and ongoing coaching; oversee and follow-up on member appeals, and create and execute weekly staffing schedule
• Manage and track enrollments for educational programs, outcomes and expenditures
• Prepare accurate reports; analyze enrollment data, tuition costs, and spending
• Coordinate and monitor college educational programs; function as the liaison with other departments, committees, schools
• Coordinate and assist case managers in identifying students who are at risk of failing classes; coordinate tutoring as needed
• Assist with student assessment, tracking and counseling; coordinate, facilitate, and mentor students to successfully complete the program
• Coordinate and assist the development of new education programs and initiatives; keep track of various resources at the Training and Employment Funds and provide referrals as appropriate
• Establish efficient and standardized work process in collaboration with Associate Director; identify and troubleshoot issues
• Work collaboratively with teaching staff to provide quality educational curricula
• Perform additional duties and projects as assigned by management
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in education, training, or equivalent years of work experience required, Masters Degree preferred
• Minimum five (5) years experience in training, finance, or workforce development required
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel; experience with spreadsheets and database programs
• Knowledge of higher education systems or experience counseling college students a must
• Experience advancing the use of technology in adult education
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, follow-up, written and verbal communication skills
• Available to work flexible hours including evenings and Saturdays as needed
