Job description

The TechOps Finance team is seeking an innovative and results-driven individual for the Finance Program Manager - TechOps Finance role. This position will be supporting Delta Air Lines Engine Maintenance operation by collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver industry-leading operational and financial performance. The successful candidate will have a continuous improvement mindset and thrives in a dynamic, team-oriented environment. 

Key responsibilities for this position include: 
  • Optimize financial performance of the Product Line by having an in-depth understanding of the governing OEM and supplier contracts to maximize contractual entitlements in partnership with the operating teams. 
  • Ownership of the Product Line P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow by performing month-end close activities, creating insightful reporting, managing weekly forecast process, and supporting the annual operating plan process. 
  • Prepare and present strategic recommendations to Operating Leaders during weekly Integrated Product Team (IPT) meetings that drives cost productivity and maximizes resources without sacrificing operational performance. 
  • Conduct variance analyses to evaluate financial performance versus multiple scenarios to understand cost-drivers and provide recommendations to achieve financial targets. 
  • Plan, coordinate and drive closure on ad-hoc projects that support strategic initiatives. 
  • Develop both strategic and tactical plans that create a safety-conscious environment resulting in employee safety and wellbeing.
