Introduction:
Village Capital is a well-established mortgage company committed to delivering a quick, efficient, and quality mortgage loan process to our customers and business partners. We are a nationwide mortgage lender specializing in FHA, VA, USDA Loans. Our Headquarters are located in Henderson NV. We are a lender/servicer, who works with loan originators, brokers, and correspondents to offer our customers great rates and good terms.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Verify all loan documentation and calculations to guarantee adherence to industry standards and company policies.
  • Address and resolve any discrepancies or issues that may arise during the file application and till closing.
  • Stay updated on industry regulations and changes to ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines.
  • Ensure you make timely and accurate responses to our loan partners and be willing to get on the phone to get issues resolved quickly.
  • Perform a general evaluation of an application (financial documents, mortgage type etc.)
  • Gather all missing data from the loan officer (assets, debts etc.)
  • Verify information and references by contacting the right sources
  • Correct mistakes and investigate inconsistencies
  • Act as point of contact between loan officers and underwriters
  • Conduct a final review of the file before closing
  • Understanding of loan guidelines and underwriting procedures
  • Knowledge of laws and best practices
  • Proficient in Encompass LOS - We are willing to train if you have used a prior LOS software
  • Outstanding communication and customer service skills
  • Well-organized and able to handle pressure

Basic Qualifications:
  • Proven experience with problem-solving skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in Windows and Encompass (Encompass preferred)
