Job description

Overview

SY Financial Services is a growing financial services agency focused on helping individuals, families, and business owners protect their income, prepare for retirement, and build long-term financial security.

We are currently expanding our team and seeking motivated individuals to join as Financial Services Associate. This is an entry-level, remote opportunity for someone who is interested in learning the financial services industry, working directly with clients, and developing long-term professional skills.

No prior financial services experience is required. Training, mentorship, and field support are provided.

This role is best suited for someone who is coachable, self-motivated, comfortable communicating with people, and interested in a performance-based career path.

About the Role

Financial Services Associates work with clients virtually to help them understand basic financial concepts, identify their needs, and review available financial solutions. This may include areas such as life insurance, retirement planning, annuities, wealth protection, and financial education.

Associates follow a structured training process and receive support while learning how to speak with clients, schedule appointments, complete field training, and build confidence in the industry.

Responsibilities

  • Meet with clients virtually to review financial goals and needs
  • Provide education on basic financial concepts and available solutions
  • Assist clients with implementing appropriate financial strategies
  • Maintain ongoing communication and follow-up with clients
  • Participate in training, mentorship, and team development sessions
  • Follow a structured process for client appointments and field training
  • Work with team members to maintain a high level of client service

Benefits of the role

  • Remote work structure
  • Flexible schedule
  • Training and mentorship provided
  • Ability to start part-time or full-time
  • Leadership development opportunities
  • Client-facing experience in a regulated industry
  • Opportunity to grow into a leadership or agency-building role over time
  • Performance-based income with growth potential based on activity, production, and consistency

Qualifications

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Comfortable working in a remote environment
  • Willingness to learn and complete training
  • Professional, coachable, and willing to follow a proven process
  • Comfortable speaking with individuals and families about financial topics
  • No prior financial services experience required

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Must be able to pass a background check
  • Must have reliable phone, internet, and basic computer access
  • Must be willing to obtain a state life insurance license if not already licensed

Licensing Requirement

This position requires a state life insurance license. If you are not currently licensed, guidance and support are provided throughout the licensing process.

Licensing costs are the responsibility of the individual. The license belongs to the individual, not the company.

Compensation

Compensation is performance-based and varies depending on licensing status, activity level, client appointments, production, and consistency.

This is not an hourly or salaried position. A realistic first-year income range for someone actively working the business is $40,000-$60,000 but income is not guaranteed.

This opportunity is best suited for someone who wants flexibility, mentorship, professional growth, and the ability to build based on performance.
