Group/Division

KLA is well known for its high-performing business model which routinely produces significant profit margins and revenue. Key to supporting KLA business is the finance team that partners with corporate and global business organizations to provide expertise and guidance for developing and executing sound business models and practices. The Finance organization consists of operations and corporate finance teams. The operations finance team influences business decisions by gathering the best available operations information, distilling it and making recommendations to our management team on the best course of action. The corporate team provides a broad range of services, such as financial planning, corporate accounting, tax, industry analysis and benchmarking, internal audits, SEC reporting and merger and acquisition support.

Job Description/Preferred Qualifications

The Financial Analyst will be supporting research and development teams to plan, track, and analyze budgets. this position will have exposure to a highly efficient team members with industry + technical expertise that is valuable to build knowledge and grow at KLA.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze project development cost

  • Monitor expense trend and provide insights to the engineering team and management

  • Update quarterly cost and headcount allocations to engineering programs

  • Maintain program spending tracker and support with milestone presentations to business leaders

  • Assist with ad hoc requests for financial modeling, scenario analysis and simulations.

  • Provide support to engineering teams to develop and consolidate annual spending budget

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting functions

  • Strong MS Excel skills

  • Working knowledge of financial planning systems

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a time sensitive environment

  • Comfortable in ambiguous environment, comfortable approaching and communicating with different levels of the organization.

  • Independent and critical thinker, fast learner and excellent eye for detail

Minimum Qualifications

  • Master's Level Degree and 0 years related work experience; bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 2 years. Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics is preferred.

Base Pay Range: $77,900.00 - $132,400.00 AnnuallyPrimary Location: USA-CA-Milpitas-KLAKLA's total rewards package for employees may also include participation in performance incentive programs and eligibility for additional benefits including but not limited to: medical, dental, vision, life, and other voluntary benefits, 401(K) including company matching, employee stock purchase program (ESPP), student debt assistance, tuition reimbursement program, development and career growth opportunities and programs, financial planning benefits, wellness benefits including an employee assistance program (EAP), paid time off and paid company holidays, and family care and bonding leave.
