Client Associate (Wealth Management)

Location: Beaverton, Oregon Work Model: Full-Time | In-Office Monday-Friday

Compensation: $65,000-$82,000 (Commensurate with Experience) + Comprehensive Benefits

About the Role - We are seeking a motivated, service-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our close-knit team. This position plays a key role in supporting daily office operations, retirement plan administration, and delivering exceptional service to our clients.

NBC Capital Advisors is an independent wealth management firm based in Beaverton, Oregon, dedicated to helping individuals, families, business owners, and retirement plan participants navigate their financial lives with confidence. As fiduciaries, we are committed to putting our clients first and delivering personalized financial guidance, investment management, retirement planning, and wealth management solutions.

As our firm continues to grow, we are seeking an Administrative Assistant who will play a vital role in supporting both our clients and our internal operations.

Your Role & Responsibilities

Client Service & Administrative Support

  • Answer incoming phone calls and assist clients in a professional, friendly, and timely manner
  • Serve as a first point of contact for client questions and requests
  • Manage general office communication through Outlook, including calendars and email correspondence
  • Maintain organized records, files, and client documentation
  • Support advisors and team members with various administrative and operational needs

Retirement Plan & Client Operations Support

  • Assist clients with 401(k) enrollment processes and retirement plan-related questions
  • Support retirement plan administration and participant service requests
  • Process account paperwork, client forms, and operational requests
  • Assist with money movement requests, check deposits, rollovers, and account maintenance activities
  • Coordinate with custodians and third-party providers as needed

Office Operations

  • Process incoming and outgoing mail
  • Become proficient in multiple internal and external software platforms
  • Utilize Microsoft Excel for tracking, reporting, and administrative functions
  • Organize and coordinate team meetings
  • Assist with special projects and firm initiatives as needed

Team Support & Continuous Improvement

  • Work closely with all members of the firm to support business operations
  • Proactively identify tasks and opportunities to help during slower periods
  • Contribute ideas for improving client service, efficiency, and firm operations
  • Take ownership of responsibilities and seek opportunities to learn and grow
