We're partnering with a leading global logistics and supply chain organization to identify a Finance Manager, Operations who will play a critical role in supporting a large-scale Contract Logistics business across multiple locations in the United States.

This is more than a traditional accounting or finance position. We're seeking a strategic finance professional who enjoys digging into operational performance, identifying cost drivers, uncovering opportunities, and partnering with business leaders to improve profitability and decision-making.

If you're passionate about financial analysis, operational excellence, and influencing business outcomes, this is an opportunity to make a measurable impact within a complex, fast-moving environment.

What You'll Do

  • Partner with operational and business leaders to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making.
  • Lead forecasting, budgeting, and annual planning processes.
  • Analyze financial and operational performance to identify risks, trends, and opportunities.
  • Develop and implement action plans to improve profitability and cost control.
  • Monitor KPIs and provide recommendations that drive operational efficiency.
  • Support month-end close activities, including revenue, cost, and gross profit analysis.
  • Evaluate customer, site, and business unit profitability.
  • Participate in new business reviews, investments, and financial modeling initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, financial policies, and reporting standards.
  • Collaborate across multiple locations to establish best practices and consistency in financial processes.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • CPA preferred.
  • 7+ years of progressive finance, controllership, FP&A, or operational finance experience.
  • Experience supporting multi-site operations and complex business environments.
  • Strong financial planning, forecasting, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to translate financial data into actionable business recommendations.
  • Executive-level communication and presentation abilities.
  • Proven success influencing stakeholders across operations and finance.
  • Experience within logistics, supply chain, distribution, manufacturing, transportation, or 3PL environments strongly preferred.

Why This Opportunity Stands Out

  • High visibility role with direct exposure to senior leadership.
  • Opportunity to influence business performance at a national level.
  • Blend of finance, operations, and strategy.
  • Complex, data-driven environment where your recommendations directly impact profitability.
  • Strong organizational stability, growth, and career advancement potential.
  • Collaborative culture focused on continuous improvement and operational excellence.
