Description

Delta Screen & Filtration is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Financial Assistant to support our daily financial and administrative operations. This position plays a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, efficient transaction processing, and strong collaboration across departments. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and have a passion for accuracy and organization, we'd love to hear from you. 


Key Responsibilities:

  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and on time.
  • Prepare customer invoices and verify purchase orders.
  • Maintain vendor records and assist with vendor payment processing.
  • Prepare routine financial reports, spreadsheets, and management summaries.
  • Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial closing activities.
  • Maintain accurate financial records in accordance with company policies and accounting principles.
  • Coordinate with the Production team regarding financial transactions and documentation.
  • Maintain confidentiality of company financial information.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and customer invoicing requirements.
  • Maintain ERP master data for customers, vendors, pricing, and financial information.
  • Generate reports and analyze financial data to support management decision-making.
  • Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, reporting accuracy, and administrative efficiency.
  • Maintain organized electronic and paper financial records.
  • Cross-train with other administrative personnel to support business continuity.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Two or more years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, financial administration, or business operations.
  • Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. 
  • Manufacturing industry experience is a plus.
  • Experience with ERP systems such as Global Shop, Epicor, SYSPRO, or similar software preferred.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
