About The Role
The Financial Operations Analyst will analyze tariffs, trade compliance and operational data to support financial reporting, improve accuracy, and enhance efficiency. This role ensures data integrity, compliance with standards, and optimizes reporting systems for data-driven decision-making. The analyst will drive process improvements to boost operational efficiency, financial accuracy, and reporting effectiveness, while providing valuable insights to departments including procurement, logistics, warehouse, production, engineering, customer operations, and finance.
What You Will Do
  • Review, validate, and modify tariff tool raw data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with trade requirements.
  • Analyze, validate, prepare, and submit Post Summary Corrections (PSC) and Customs Protests to ensure compliance with U.S. Customs regulations.
  • Conduct reconciliations among ACE data (US customs website), Accounts Payable (AP) data, PSC filings, and tariff management tools to identify and resolve discrepancies.
  • Investigate data variances and compliance exceptions, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  • Prepare reports, analyses, and supporting documentation for customs audits, compliance reviews, and management reporting.
  • Collaborate with Customs Brokers, Logistics, Finance, Procurement, and Operations teams to ensure accurate trade compliance data and reporting.
  • Support duty recovery, tariff mitigation, and customs compliance initiatives through data analysis and process improvements.
  • Provide support for ad hoc trade compliance requests, regulatory inquiries, management reporting, and special projects.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

What You Bring
  • Bachelor's or above in Data Analytics, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field required.
  • 1+ years of relevant experience in the finance or data analysis field preferred
  • Advanced PC skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Independent problem solver with ability to decode large quantities of complex data into easy-to-understand findings, observations, and action items.
  • Detail oriented and committed to deadlines.
  • Excellent communication, written, and presentation skills.
  • Familiar with financial and data analysis principles, including tariff analysis, AP (Account Payable) reconciliation, trade compliance tracking, and key financial metrics, to generate insights and optimize business outcomes.
  • Ability to identify opportunities for performance and procedure improvement across the organization.
  • Highly analytical with the ability to handle complex problems and build models.
  • Extensive experience in financial analysis and data visualization.
  • Proven analytical background.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP, Python, Jira, and Tableau Prep is preferred.

The typical base salary for this position is expected to be between $52,500 and $70,000 annually. If hired, the final base salary will be determined on an individual basis taking into consideration experience, skills, knowledge, education and/or certifications.
