Job description

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the financial strategic planning of the company by evaluating its performance and potential risks.
  • Develop budgets that meet the strategic goals of the company.
  • Prepare detailed reports on the company’s financial performance.
  • Supervise the finance team in the day-to-day operations, including tracking key financial metrics.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory law and financial regulations.
  • Develop secure procedures to maintain confidential information.
  • Enhance and implement financial and accounting systems, processes, tools, and control systems.
  • Work with other team members to understand revenue and cost drivers and define appropriate reports for tracking.
  • Coordinate with external financial entities on behalf of the company, including accountants, government auditors, and financial consultants.
  • Manage and monitor metrics, KPI tracking, and reports for finance department performance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or Economics. Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA or CMA) is preferred.
  • Proven experience as a financial manager in logistic area with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
  • Strong understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles.
  • Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient user of finance software, with a strong understanding of ERP software and advanced Excel skills.
  • Ability to manage, guide, and lead employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are being used.
  • Mandarin will be an asset
