Join Keysight as a Finance Operational Controller and help guide the investments behind the technologies that power our next generation of products. Based in Santa Rosa, you will serve as a trusted finance partner to senior leadership for a global technology and manufacturing organization encompassing approximately 1,000 employees and $170 million in annual operating costs. This highly visible role offers a unique opportunity to combine strategic financial leadership, manufacturing finance, and global collaboration while supporting the journey from innovative chip and circuit designs through early manufacturing and product introduction.
Responsibilities
  • Serve as the financial controller and strategic business partner for Keysight's Technology Order Fulfillment (TOF) Technology Centers, manufacturing operations, and technical services. Provide financial leadership that enables sound operational decisions, effective cost management, and the achievement of business commitments across a global organization.
  • Partner with TOF leadership, manufacturing teams, CSG controllers, shared-services organizations, and other key stakeholders to align financial priorities, manage commitments, and provide visibility into Technology Center spending and performance.
  • Lead the annual planning and forecasting processes for operating costs, headcount, workforce requirements, and capital expenditures.
  • Deliver timely, accurate, and meaningful monthly and quarterly financial reporting, analysis, and business insights to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Monitor performance against plans and forecasts, identify emerging risks and opportunities, and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
  • Influence operational and investment decisions through financial analysis, scenario modeling, performance evaluation, and clear, data-driven recommendations.
  • Translate complex financial and operational information into practical insights that help leaders evaluate priorities, allocate resources, and achieve business objectives.
  • Maintain strong financial controls, compliance standards, and governance processes that support operational excellence and effective risk management.
  • Serve as the program lead for key finance and operational initiatives, coordinating cross-functional stakeholders, priorities, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Provide leadership and support talent development across the finance team, promoting collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve financial processes, reporting capabilities, and business intelligence through automation, innovative technologies, and AI-enabled tools.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Typically, 10-12+ years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, financial planning and analysis, operational controlling, or a related discipline.
  • Recognized subject-matter expertise in financial planning, forecasting, performance management, cost management, and strategic decision support, with a demonstrated ability to influence outcomes at the group or business-organization level.
  • Experience supporting manufacturing, R&D, technical operations, or another complex, cost-based global organization is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated success serving as a trusted financial advisor to senior business leaders and translating broad business strategies into structured financial plans, insights, and actionable recommendations.
  • Proven ability to lead global, high-impact, or long-range finance, business-process, or transformation initiatives across functions and geographic regions.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to evaluate large and complex datasets, identify underlying business drivers, and develop recommendations in situations involving ambiguity or competing priorities.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the executive presence and credibility to influence senior leaders, cross-functional teams, and key stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead through influence, build alignment across a matrixed organization, and support the growth and development of others.
  • Continuous-improvement mindset with experience enhancing financial processes, reporting, and business intelligence; exposure to automation, advanced analytics, or AI-enabled tools is preferred.

The level of role will be based on applicable experience, education, and skills. Most offers will be between the minimum and the midpoint of the Salary Range listed below.
California Pay Range: Minimum $145,970 - Maximum $243,280
