Job Type: Full Time
Job Description :
Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration/Management from an accredited institution
5 years of U.S. GAAP accounting experience
3 years of experience in Public Accounting with focus on public company clients
Knowledge of and experience with internal controls and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements
Certified Public Accountant
Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in accounting or finance from an accredited institution
5 years of experience in Public Accounting with a Big Four accounting firm
Manufacturing experience with a concentration in the metals industry
Extensive knowledge of accounting under U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and SEC reporting requirements
Experience with implementing new U.S. GAAP accounting standards such as revenue recognition or lease accounting
Technical expertise in a broad range of U.S. GAAP accounting areas including but not limited to revenue recognition, lease accounting, impairment of long-lived assets, goodwill valuations, inventory (including cost accounting) and restructuring.
