Job Title: Data Entry Specialist (Level 2)Job Description
This contract Data Entry Specialist role provides operational support across financial and project management functions for a highly dynamic national team. You will focus on accurate data entry and database management, maintain leasing transaction records, and handle confidential employee and client information with professionalism and discretion. The position requires exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently under deadlines while collaborating with multiple teams and stakeholders.
Responsibilities
  • Provide operational support across financial and project management activities, ensuring data and documentation are accurate, complete, and up to date.
  • Deliver white-glove transaction support to a national team of transaction managers, responding promptly and professionally to requests and inquiries.
  • Maintain the leasing transaction deal database, ensuring all data is accurate, current, and consistently updated across multiple teams and geographic regions.
  • Work across multiple internal and external systems to create, enter, and manage data, ensuring consistency and integrity across platforms.
  • Run reports from various systems, accurately format the output, and distribute reports efficiently to relevant stakeholders.
  • Perform high-volume data entry with a strong focus on accuracy, completeness, and adherence to established procedures.
  • Manage and update Excel databases, including entering, organizing, and validating data as needed for operational and financial reporting.
  • Handle confidential and sensitive employee and client information with strict discretion and professionalism at all times.
  • Communicate effectively in writing and verbally with different audiences, clearly presenting complex or detailed information.
  • Collaborate as a team player across operational and financial functions, supporting colleagues and contributing to shared goals.

Work Environment
This is a strictly contract position based in a corporate office environment in Washington, DC. Typical work hours are Monday through Friday, either 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM or 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM. The work involves extensive use of computers, internal and external data systems, and Excel for data entry, database management, and reporting. The office does not provide dedicated employee parking, but it is located close to public transportation, including metro access. The interview process includes one virtual interview and one in-person interview. The environment is professional and fast-paced, supporting a national team, and requires a polished, business-appropriate appearance and demeanor.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
