About the Job
We're looking for a hands-on Automation Engineer who enjoys finding smarter ways to get work done.
You'll partner across Analytics, BI, Data Engineering, and the business to automate data and reporting workflows, reduce spreadsheet-dependent processes, strengthen data quality, and create reusable solutions that give teams more capacity for higher-value work.
What You'll Do
  • Identify and prioritize high-value automation opportunities across data, reporting, and engineering workflows
  • Build and maintain automation using SQL, Python, ETL, workflow technologies, and approved AI-assisted development tools
  • Automate data extraction, transformation, validation, reconciliation, reporting, and distribution
  • Replace manual and spreadsheet-dependent workflows with scalable technical solutions
  • Support Power BI data preparation, dataset refreshes, publishing, and reporting automation
  • Build reusable tools, data-quality checks, exception reporting, and process controls
  • Troubleshoot automations, data-quality issues, integrations, and recurring technical processes
  • Partner across technical and business teams to design, document, and deliver maintainable solutions

What You'll Bring
  • 3+ years of experience in data automation, software development, data engineering, analytics engineering, BI, or a related field
  • Strong SQL development, troubleshooting, and optimization skills
  • Proficiency with Python or a comparable scripting/programming language
  • Experience with ETL/ELT, workflow automation, data pipelines, and scheduled processes
  • Working knowledge of Power BI and related data and reporting workflows
  • Strong understanding of data validation, reconciliation, exception handling, and data quality
  • Ability to translate business processes into reliable, reusable technical solutions
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred; equivalent relevant experience considered
  • Healthcare, HEDIS, compliance, audit, or regulated-industry experience is a plus
