Job Overview:

The Associate Data Recon Analyst provides Advisory Accounting support to the Performance and Data Reconciliation (PDR) department by identifying, troubleshooting, and solving accounting and data issues. This role works closely with both Analysts and Senior Analysts to document and maintain department processes and procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Owning accountability to fulfill and complete reconciliation breaks within strict service level agreement (SLA) guidelines.

  • Working effectively and efficiently through month-end transactional and performance quality controls.

  • Supporting data flow management and quality control to ensure processing of investment data into downstream systems.

  • Identifying, troubleshooting and solving for accounting and data related issues

  • Analyzing and addressing abnormalities that impact fee billing calculations with comprehension of monthly rate of returns

  • Supporting process improvement, creation, documentation, and implementation; partnering with Analysts and Senior Analysts to maintain and update department procedures

  • Supporting the team in problem solving and root cause analysis

  • Organizing processes and tracking progress toward team and individual goals

  • Validating performance returns using time- and money-weighted performance calculations

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree (Finance preferred)

  • Microsoft Suite with advanced Excel skills (lookups, pivot tables, formulas, etc.)

  • Basic SQL knowledge

  • Database management experience

  • Multi-sleeve reconciliation skills

  • Time management organizational skills with the ability to work independently

  • Professionalism in a virtual environment, along with a team-oriented mindset and engagement

Pay Range:

$23.27-$38.82/hour
Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
