What You'll Do
This position will be located at our Corporate Office: 2355 W Pinnacle Peak Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85027
The Copywriter is responsible for developing compelling, performance-driven messaging that strengthens the OneAZ brand and drives measurable outcomes across awareness, acquisition, engagement, and retention efforts.
This role partners closely with the creative and marketing teams to translate strategy into clear, effective copy across channels. The Copywriter ensures consistency in voice and messaging while optimizing content to connect with target audiences, reinforce brand positioning, and move members through the marketing funnel. In addition, this role serves as a key partner in ensuring content accuracy and compliance, collaborating with business stakeholders and Risk to validate product details and incorporate required disclosures.
Essential Functions
  • Develop clear, persuasive copy supporting integrated campaigns across awareness, acquisition, engagement, and retention stages
  • Translate campaign strategies, offers, and value propositions into messaging that drives audience action and funnel progression
  • Write and optimize copy for digital channels including paid media, email, web, landing pages, and social
  • Ensure all messaging reflects accurate product details, pricing, and terms in partnership with business stakeholders
  • Develop content supporting lifecycle programs such as onboarding, nurture, cross-sell, and retention initiatives
  • Maintain and evolve the OneAZ brand voice, ensuring consistency, clarity, and differentiation across channels
  • Partner with creative and channel teams to execute messaging across paid, owned, and organic channels
  • Optimize messaging for channel-specific performance, engagement, and conversion outcomes
  • Collaborate with marketing and analytics teams to interpret performance and refine messaging strategies
  • Develop and support A/B testing and iterative improvements to increase campaign effectiveness
  • Partner with business lines, and Risk team to ensure content accuracy and alignment with product details, rates, and terms
  • Translate product and regulatory requirements into clear, compliant, and consumer-friendly messaging
  • Ensure required disclosures are accurately incorporated across all marketing materials and channels
  • Own and maintain the centralized library of marketing disclosures, including version control and accessibility
  • Support review and approval workflows to ensure all deliverables meet regulatory and compliance standards

What You Bring
  • High School Diploma or GED Required
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or a related field. Required.
  • 5-8 similar or related experience in professional copywriting experience in marketing, advertising, brand communications or content marketing, Required
  • Portfolio or writing samples demonstrating experience creating effective marketing content across multiple channels. Required
  • Experience working within an advertising, marketing, communications, or public relations agency environment Preferred
  • Strong copywriting skills with the ability to adapt tone and messaging by audience and channel
  • Experience developing campaign messaging that drives measurable outcomes
  • Understanding of marketing funnels, lifecycle stages, and audience segmentation
  • Ability to manage projects independently and work collaboratively in a team setting
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written, verbal communication skills
