Arcetyp LLC is a growing small business that provides a broad range of consulting services to US Federal Government, US Military, and Commercial clients. Services include Management & IT Consulting, Program & Project Management, and Professional & Admin Services.

Arcetyp LLC is looking for a Experienced GovCon Controller with Deltek Costpoint Experience to support the client. This will be an on-site, in-office position located in Bethesda, Maryland with one day teleworking.
POSITION DUTIES:
  • The Controller serves as the senior financial management authority responsible for the integrity, accuracy, and compliance of all accounting, reporting, and financial control functions within a U.S. Government contracting environment.
  • Oversees full-cycle accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, payroll, indirect rate development, project cost accounting, and monthly/quarterly/year-end close processes, ensuring compliance with GAAP, FAR, CAS (as applicable), and agency-specific requirements.
  • Accountable for establishing and maintaining compliant cost structures, including fringe, overhead, and G&A rates; monitoring contract-level profitability; and supporting pricing strategies for competitive proposals across cost-plus, T&M, FFP, and IDIQ/BPA vehicles.
  • Leads audit preparation and execution for DCAA, DCMA, and independent CPA audits, ensuring accurate support for incurred cost submissions, provisional billing rates, ICE models, and financial representations in proposals.
  • Partners closely with executive leadership, contracts, HR, and program management to provide timely financial insights, risk assessments, and decision support, while strengthening internal controls, segregation of duties, and financial policies as the organization scales.
  • Manages accounting systems and financial reporting tools (Deltek, or similar), mentors accounting staff, and plays a critical role in cash-flow management, revenue forecasting, and strategic financial planning to support compliant growth within the federal marketplace..

REQUIREMENTS:
  • 5 to 10 years or more experience in US Government contracting in roles including as a controller.
  • Specific direct experience with Deltek Costpoint is required.
  • A bachelor's degree in a related field of study is desired.

Min. Citizenship Status Required: U.S Citizenship.
