Job description

OC Management, LLC is a growing community association management company serving homeowners associations (HOAs) throughout Orange County and Los Angeles County. We are seeking an experienced HOA accounting professional to assist with financial transitions, accounting setup, financial reporting, reconciliations, and consulting services for the communities we manage.


This is not a full-time or part-time position. We are looking for a knowledgeable professional to provide assistance on a project-by-project basis as needed.


Responsibilities

The selected professional may assist with:

  • HOA financial transition projects
  • Chart of accounts review and setup
  • General ledger mapping and account setup
  • Opening balance creation and review
  • Bank account reconciliations
  • Operating and reserve fund accounting
  • Homeowner ledger review and reconstruction
  • Financial statement preparation and review
  • Monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reviews
  • Internal accounting controls and best practices
  • Budget preparation support
  • Year-end accounting assistance
  • Audit and review preparation
  • HOA and corporate tax preparation support
  • Accounting process improvement and consulting


Current Project Examples

Association Transition #1

  • Review financial records received from prior management company
  • Map historical balances to appropriate GL accounts
  • Assist with transitioning banking relationships
