Job Description

Client Service Associate (50K-70K + Disc. Bonus) Warren NJ

Seeking a client service associate with 2+ years of experience to support a senior relationship manager.  This position requires someone with strong technical skills, attention to detail, excellent communication skills and the willingness and ability to learn.  This position will provide significant exposure to running a full service financial services organization and provide the right candidate with the opportunity to learn and grow within a comprehensive wealth management organization.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support senior relationship manager to increase effectiveness by relieving the senior relationship manager of many day-to-day activities.
  • Position involves extensive client contact, individual will be involved in all activities interfacing with clients and prospects
  • Coordinates information flow among internal departments, clients and others as necessary
  • Guides and directs others as necessary; acts as a specialist resource to support all wealth management areas.
  • Keeps others on the team informed of status of account administration, retention and projects.
  • Communicates work in progress with the financial planner and clients.
  • Indentifies and recommends technology/process improvements which may improve overall productivity and client satisfaction
  • Assists with the marketing efforts
  • Competes special projects as assigned by management.

  • Strong communication skills (verbal & written)
  • Ability to exercise good judgment by recognizing urgency and prioritizing tasks accordingly
  • Able to work independently with strong administrative and problem solving skills
  • Team Player - must be able to work across departments and assist in the development and implementation of plans.
  • Must have the ability to multi-task and stay focused in a highly visible, fast-paced and team oriented environment.
  • Detail oriented
  • 2+ years prior experience in a financial service organization
  • Bachelor's degree
