Job description

Objective:    The Field Service Associate will be responsible for ensuring that our clients receive a consistent high level of care that meets the standards of Homecare Heroes, Inc., dba Senior Helpers.

Reports to:  Director of Client Care or Branch Manager

Primary Responsibilities of the Field Service Associate:
  • Provide a high level of care to Senior Helpers Clients especially those requiring assistance with ADLs and those suffering chronic conditions including Dementia, Parkinson’s, and end of Life Care.
  • Train team members on all Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) during Senior Helpers Orientation and at clients' homes.
    • Provide guidance and oversight of communication logs and communication procedures outlined in client care plans.
    • Maintain accurate records of training sessions, caregiver performance evaluations, and client care plans.
  • Assist Client Care Managers with Return Home™ clients and those requiring High-Level Skills.
  • Support setting up and obtaining necessary equipment and supplies for new client care as requested by client care manager for start of care.
  • Perform Supervisory Visits with caregivers to ensure compliance to care plan and all regulations.
  • Perform Introductions for caregivers working with new clients to ensure understanding of the care plan.
  • Assist with Scheduling support including on-call/after-hours.
  • Maintain availability for on-call caregiving when not assigned to a specific client.
  • Must have the flexibility to work different shifts, longer hours, and in different locations as needed.
  • Maintain all internal and external certifications and complete all require training.
    • Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, Chronic Disease, etc.
Qualifications
  • 3 or more years of previous personal care experience in a home setting – Homecare, Hospice, Home Health
  • Ideally 1 or more years of experience working for Senior Helpers
  • Must have exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize in a changing environment
  • Must have excellent verbal communication skills and follow-up skills with clients, and client families
  • Experience leading and motivating team members
  • Ability to quickly build rapport with people of all cultures
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
