Branch Manager

Cincinnati, OHย  |ย  Full-Timeย  |ย  On-Siteย  |ย  Reports to: President

Job Summary

Stone Center, a family- and veteran-owned leader in natural stone supply and fabrication for more than 70 years, is hiring an experienced Branch Manager to lead our Cincinnati, OH branch. This is a hands-on operations management and team leadership role covering P&L performance, sales, production, inventory, safety, and customer experience for the branch. You'll partner with the VP of Sales and VP of Operations, who set company-wide strategy and standards, while you own execution and results at the branch level.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & People Management

  • Lead daily huddles and hold employees accountable for performance, attendance, safety, and professionalism
  • Coach, develop, and mentor branch staff; partner with HR on hiring, onboarding, and performance management
  • Build a strong branch culture grounded in company core values
  • Recognize outstanding performance, address concerns promptly, and develop future leaders

Operations Management

  • Coordinate daily activity across sales, fabrication, warehouse/yard, and administration
  • Ensure orders are completed accurately and on time; maintain inventory accuracy
  • Champion workplace safety and maintain branch cleanliness and appearance
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to increase operational efficiency

Customer Experience & Sales Support

  • Resolve customer concerns quickly and professionally
  • Build and maintain relationships with key customers
  • Partner with the sales team to exceed customer expectations and support revenue growth
Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of progressive leadership or branch/operations management experience
  • Proven track record of holding teams accountable and increasing operational efficiency and profitability
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to lead in a fast-paced, production-oriented environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in manufacturing, fabrication, construction materials, building products, or industrial distribution
  • Experience leading multiple departments (sales, production, warehouse) and improving operational processes

Compensation & Benefits
  • Base Salary: $75,000 โ€“ $85,000 per year, commensurate with experience
  • Performance Bonus: annual bonus tied to revenue, margin, safety, and on-time delivery
  • Benefits: health insurance (60% employer-paid), 401(k) with up to 4% match, dental and vision, voluntary life insurance, paid time off and paid holidays
