The Financial Analyst (FA) role is a member of Fidelity Wealth (FW) Marketing and will be responsible for delivering impactful and insightful financial analysis to measure and evaluate the financial performance of the business. This role is highly analytical and requires an individual who can multi-task in a fast-paced and highly complex organization. The ability to partner with FW Marketing, FBS Supervision and Operations Support, FW Central Finance, senior leaders, accounting, and other finance organizations is a necessity. The role is responsible for analyzing headcount / expense trends and assists with the forecast and budgeting process. This position plays a lead role in month-end financial activities.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
  • A bachelor's degree in finance, Economics, or equivalent
  • 2 plus years of professional experience in Finance with a successful track record in financial modeling and analysis
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to analyze complex issues, synthesize key points and effectively communicate findings
  • Successfully collaborate with business partners and work effectively as part of a team
  • Flexible and work well in a fast paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and presentation tools (MS Excel, MS PowerPoint) with experience in Tableau and Anaplan
  • A self-motivated teammate who brings energy, enthusiasm, and intellectual curiosity
  • Keen ability to envision the 'big picture' while maintaining close attention to detail
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, working independently to perform most analyses
  • Ability to take initiative and seek creative solutions that challenge conventional approaches

Responsibilities include:
  • Work closely with business partners to ensure optimal allocation of retail's ~$250M annual promo spend
  • Participate in promotion planning, analyze monthly spending, and actively manage the Marketing promo budget
  • Manage updates to the Marketing NPV model and periodic updates to model inputs
  • Determine marketing costs allocations to businesses utilizing NGAV
  • Work on annual budget, multi-year plan, monthly forecasts for PI's internal ad agency
  • Domain analyses and presentations, including financial portions of QBR and planning discussions with FW SLT and other senior audiences
  • Ad hoc product, customer and segment analyses and presentations as necessary

This role will contribute to the financial planning and analysis functions.

Fidelity's Onsite Working Model
Fidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout across regions and roles. Currently, some roles and locations require 100% onsite presence, while others require less. Onsite expectations are likely to evolve as the rollout continues. This transition does not apply to fully remote roles.
