Job Summary:

REV Renewables is seeking a Finance Associate to join our Finance team. We are looking for a candidate with direct experience executing renewable energy project finance transactions, ideally gained through a project finance investment banking, energy & infrastructure investment banking, renewable energy advisory, or infrastructure finance platform.

The ideal candidate will have strong project finance modeling capabilities, experience supporting live debt financing transactions for energy or infrastructure assets, and exposure to renewable energy tax equity financings. This role operates in a fast-paced, transaction-oriented environment and partners closely with Finance, Development, M&A, and Strategy teams to support financings, investments, and strategic initiatives across REV's renewable energy portfolio.

The position may be filled in either our New York City or Houston office.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain project finance and corporate financial models to support financings, acquisitions, and strategic initiatives.
  • Support the structuring and execution of project-level debt, tax equity, and other financing transactions for renewable energy assets.
  • Prepare financing and transaction materials, including investment memoranda, lender presentations, management presentations, and other marketing materials.
  • Coordinate and manage due diligence processes with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Evaluate acquisition, development, and merger opportunities through valuation, return, and scenario analyses.
  • Assist with the creation and maintenance of REV’s internal projections and budgets.
  • Monitor renewable energy financing and capital markets, providing market intelligence and recommendations to senior leadership.

Required Education/Skills/Knowledge:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in project finance investment banking, energy and infrastructure investment banking, renewable energy finance, project finance advisory, infrastructure finance, or a similarly transaction-intensive role.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting the execution of live project finance transactions, including debt financings for energy, power, renewable energy, or infrastructure assets.
  • Advanced financial modeling and valuation skills, including experience building and analyzing project finance models.
  • Strong understanding of project finance structures, capital markets, financing processes, and transaction execution.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple transactions and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience supporting renewable energy tax equity transactions is strongly preferred.

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:

  • Must be able to sit/stand at a desk, using a computer workstation.
  • The employee is occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach with hands and arms, walk; lift push or pull objects up to 20 pounds.
  • Must be able to handle long periods of screen time and typing.
  • Must be able to have effective time management skills, with the ability to concentrate for long periods of time.
