What You Will Do

The Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Senior Associate is responsible for supporting the companyโ€™s financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes. This role includes managing and developing the Corporate Services SG&A budget, analyzing actual results compared to the budget, assisting with the monthly financial close, reviewing monthly results to identify and investigate variances, and preparing reports and presentations to explain month-end outcomes. The Senior Associate also creates financial models to aid decision making and acts as the main business partner for designated cost centers, providing financial guidance, analysis, and support.

What You Will Need
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree and at least four years of direct, proven experience in a similar finance position
  • Background working with accounting teams, department heads, and company leadership in a mid-size or large organization
  • Strong proficiency in the MS Office suite, with advanced Excel skills
  • Familiarity with financial planning tools
  • Ability to work independently and consistently meet hard deadlines
  • This is a hybrid role, with a strong preference for candidates located in the Washington, D.C. metro area
What Would Be Nice To Have
  • Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • CPA certification or Masterโ€™s degree
  • Skilled in Oracle Hyperion Planning and Reporting
  • Experience with PeopleSoft and/or CostPoint
  • Strong presentation abilities and capable of engaging with all levels of the organization, including executive management, to aid financial decisions
  • Ability in identifying, calculating, and reporting addbacks (non-recurring, non-cash expenses) for management reporting and EBITDA adjustments
  • Proficient with Power BI or similar tools for dashboard creation, executive-level reporting, and data visualization
  • Experience working with stakeholders in Private Equity-backed environments or public companies
  • Experience in systems implementation
