Job description

Summary: The Finance/HR Assistant is responsible for assisting the CFO and VP of Finance/HR to help the Finance/HR office run smoothly and efficiently.

Essential Duties: Essential job duties for this position include the following items. Other duties must be performed as assigned or required.

  • Daily use of ACS (Financial Software), Virtuous (Donor Database), isolved (HRIS), Excel, and Word
  • Process daily donations that come in the mail
  • Enter donations in Virtuous as needed
  • Assist with Account Payable
  • Record drafts in ACS
  • Assist with paperwork for Onboarding/Offboarding, Insurance, Benefits, etc.
  • Facilitate video trainings occasionally
  • Process payroll occasionally
  • Assist with monthly credit card reconciliations
  • Help improve internal systems and workflows
  • Maintain vendor W-9 documentation
  • Assist with annual audit preparation and document gathering
  • Screen applications
  • Assist CFO, VP of Finance/HR, and CEO with other tasks as necessary

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in related field preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in related field preferred
