Position Summary

This is an exciting finance opportunity supporting our IT FP&A segment. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining databases, collaboration with team members to verify proper financial controls are in place, working with our lead FP&A team members to complete month end closes and forecasts. This role will provide an opportunity for the right candidate to grow their knowledge of our FP&A systems and expand their accounting skillset.

Candidate should:
- Process general ledger journal entries
- Prepare account reconciliations and ensure compliance with company policy
- Assist with preparation of reports requested by customers and FP&A leadership
- Possess good time management skills
- Capability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously
- Exhibit good communication skills
- Be well organized and detail oriented
- Work independently to compile information
- Identify problems, communicate to leadership and execute corrective actions with the help of management
- Participate in special projects and respond to ad hoc requests as needed
Required Qualifications

  • 1+ year of experience and proficiency with Microsoft Suite


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in accounting and/or finance experience preferably in healthcare or financial services
  • Experience in financial closing process
  • Experience working with other finance areas (e.g., finance or operations).
  • Experience with Oracle and/or SAP
  • Ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and interpret results
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills are essential
  • High level of accuracy in preparing and entering financial information
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively, especially when working under tight deadlines during reporting/close periods


Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred or equivalent experience

The typical pay range for this role is:

$43,888.00 - $93,574.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
