Job Summary/Company:

Sparks Group in partnership with a growing aviation industry company is seeking a Financial Analyst.  As the Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for driving forecasting, recurring reporting, and core metric modeling to give leadership clear, actionable insights into business performance. You will build complex scenario models, analyze key drivers across revenue and expenses, ensure data accuracy, and occasionally lend a hand with basic accounting functions. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree along with a minimum of 3 years of financial analysis experience and strong Excel skills, is a self-starter, able to solve problems, proactively suggest improvements and adapt to changing priorities.  If you’re seeking your next opportunity apply now!


Responsibilities:
  • Model, stress-test, and prepare annual and end-of-year forecasts while building custom scenario and pricing models to support strategic decisions.
  • Analyze revenue, bookings, expense drivers, and customer churn/retention metrics (such as NRR and GRR) to quantify their impact on the business.
  • Build recurring dashboards to track key performance indicators and deliver fast, accurate ad hoc financial analysis when leadership needs to make decisions.
  • Review complex data sets to ensure accuracy before reporting and assist with basic accounting tasks as needed.

Qualifications/Background Profile:
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics or related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of financial analysis experience
  • Advanced Excel skills to include pivot tables, financial modeling and complex formulas
  • Knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping concepts is a plus
